Graeme at the Taran Guitars workshop with his new guitar

“Ordering my Taran was a great day. Rory invited me up to Fife to have a try of one of his guitars and immediately I was gripped. Ordering the guitar is dead easy, we had a wee chat about some extras that I wanted and which wood I wanted but I really left it up to him to decide most of it. There was a year waiting list, and it ended up taking a little longer, as he had to go get married, but I forgive him, and it was worth the wait.

The guitar is a little different to the one I tried although I much prefer my one; it is more of everything and is a total beast when it needs to be, which suits me perfectly. I believe it's because he has these fancy double insides, which are just amazing. No matter how you play his guitars they always seem to suit the person playing it. Rory’s workshop is some place. It’s always very special going back to see him and see what other guitars he’s got going. Rory is an extremely lovely welcoming guy so don’t hesitate to get in touch.”
